Worcester Police Department has a youth program called AMPP (Arts and Music Police Partnership). The program provides music therapy to at-risk youth through a collaborative effort with the Worcester Police and members from the local arts community in Worcester. The youth will work directly with local musicians, artists and police officers to create and develop their art in a positive way. Program includes: -song writing -music production -graphic design -opportunities to partner with local businesses The goal of the program is to provide positive relations between police and at-risk youth while providing them with the skills necessary to achieve a potential career field in the arts. Organizers Chris Grilli and Justin Benne joined the Pike Morning Show to talk about program. Get more info here: https://www.facebook.com/AMPPWorcester
